These video codecs are necessary to view media clips encoded with Indeo 3, 4, or 5 codecs, with optional YVU codec.This link is for those who want the latest versions of the Indeo software, which is no longer being licensed by Intel, but has been picked up by Ligos instead. This version includes versions 3.2, 4.5, and 5.11 of the video codec, as well as version 2.5 of the Intel Audio Codec.

UPDATE: Indeo has officially been acquired by Ligos, and now costs $14.95 to download this software; Obtaining the necessary codecs may be possible if a user is using Windows 95, 98, 98SE, or 2000, and has Media Player 6.4...It's believed that these codecs are installed by default. An alternative method is to download the Windows Media Codecs 8.0 Installation Package direct from Microsoft, which should install Indeo 3, 4, and 5, along with everything else offered in the package.

Camel's MPEGJoin is a small utility to join MPEG files. It's a very simple program and all it does is join MPG files. (don't try to join any other file type - it won't work) The resulting joined MPEG file created by Camel's MPEGJoin will be of the same settings as the first file in your join queue. So if you join several MPEG files, each with different settings, (which is not something you want to do in general) you will end up with a joined MPEG file with the settings of the first file. This file REQUIRES The Visual Basic 6 Runtime Libraries, which are not included with this download.

Peck's Power Join is an application written to join together several .AVI files together. Can be useful if a large media file is split up into several smaller parts, and does not require a separate offline video editing suite to do so. The only requirements are that the files joined together must all be encoded with the same video codec, and are the same framesize (i.e. 320x240, 240x180, etc.) and framerate (i.e. 10, 12, 15, 24 fps, and so on.) Will not work on .MOV or .MPG files.
