is a feature-enhanced commercial news and e-mail reader product. If you
are looking for enhanced newsreading functionality, kill and watch filters,
sorting, support for MIME/Base 64 encoded attachments, fully integrated
email capabilities then Agent is it. Also, Free Agent (a limited version
of Agent) is now part of Agent, in that it may be enabled instead of obtaining
a license code at the end of the 30-day trial period. The newest version also adds support for yEnc files, among other fixes and features. |

Gravity
is a powerful tool for accessing and processing information from the more
than 25,000 USENET discussion groups. Integrated rules, filtering, and
scoring systems help to automatically identify important information and
eliminate unwanted content. This is the final release by Microplanet,
they closed their doors in December 2001. Be aware, this version may not
install properly; (it will hang at the splash screen) The fix for this
is to install Gravity
2.3 first, and then install version 2.5. |

Leechguy
is a Usenet binaries download program that can be used with Newsguy's
Direct Read News, as well as a couple of other web-based (DRN) servers
to access Usenet newsgroups, which sometimes offers faster performance
over traditional NNTP Usenet newsreaders. yEnc encoded files may be downloaded
successfully, provided that the DRN server supports yEnc. |

NewsBin is a Usenet Downloading
Tool. It downloads, decodes, and reassembles any binary attachment including
movies, music, pictures, even software. If any combination of servers
or groups has a complete file, NewsBin will download it because it has
the unique feature of re-assembling files across servers and groups. It
also offers thumbnail viewing, spam filtering, and posting options. The
latest version adds additional server configurations, including connection
and download limits; group filter configurations, Better multiple server
support, and yEnc encoding support. |

Super Gravity 2.6 Freeware |
Super
Gravity is the unofficial version of Gravity that can show complete multi-part
binaries, decode yEnc, and a few other goodies. It is not the official
2.5 release. In order to use this version, you must have version 2.3 or
2.5 of Gravity already installed. Also, since Microplanet is no longer
in business, and this is a strictly unofficial version, you may experience
random bugs and other anomolies through its use; a list
of bugs and issues has been created to list them. |
